Remove an inactive account from a child profile

If an inactive account is linked to a child profile in Kwieb, it can be removed by any active account that is also linked to that child.

What is an inactive account?

An account is considered inactive if a parent creates a Ziber ID but does not activate it via the activation email. This can happen, for example, if a parent accidentally enters the wrong email address (a typo). Even though the account isn’t activated, the parent can still link a child to it.

Who can remove the inactive account?

A parent with an active account who is linked to the same child can remove the inactive account.

How to remove an inactive account

  1. Open the Kwieb app and go to your profile (top left).

  2. Select the child profile you are linked to.

  3. Under the child’s profile, you’ll see all accounts that are connected to this child.

  4. Any inactive accounts will be marked with a red "Remove" button.

  5. Tap the Remove button to disconnect the inactive account from the child.

💡 Tip: If you or your partner used a link code for an inactive account, you cannot reuse that same code. You’ll need to request a new invitation or link code from the school.
