Sharing photos and files via Topics

Need to send a photo or document to your child’s teacher? In Topics, you can easily share images or files directly within the conversation.

Start a Topic first

When you start a new Topic, you’ll first be asked to enter a subject and message. Note: You cannot add an attachment right away—file sharing becomes available after the conversation has started.

Sending a photo or file

Once you're in an active conversation with a teacher:

  1. Tap the attachment icon (paperclip).

  2. Choose to take a new photo or select one from your existing files.

  3. Send the image or file using the send button.

Tip: You can send multiple images or files at once.

Viewing images

When you send or receive a photo:

  • It appears directly in the conversation.

  • Tap the image to enlarge or download it.

Viewing files

When you send or receive a file:

  • You’ll see an icon representing the file type.

  • Tap the file to open or download it.

Supported file types

Kwieb Topics supports the following file formats:

  • Images: PNG, JPG, GIF

  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, XLS, XLSX
