Starting a Topic with Multiple Team Members

As a parent, you can start a Topic group conversation with up to three school team members. This is useful when you want to involve, for example, both of your child’s teachers or include someone like a learning support coordinator.


How does it work?

  1. Tap the green plus button in the menu to start a new Topic.

  2. When creating the Topic, you can select up to three team members.

  3. You can choose from team members in your child’s group and from the broader school team.

Note: If a team member appears dimmed in the selection menu, that means they have disabled Topics. You won’t be able to contact them through this feature.


Why is the limit three team members?

The limit of three participants (besides you) is intentional. It keeps communication:

  • Personal

  • Clear and manageable

  • Focused on relevant participants

Tip: If more than three team members need to join, a teacher or team member can add others to the conversation after it has started.
