Notification settings on your phone
If you installed the Kwieb app but initially chose not to allow notifications, you can still enable them later to make sure you receive important updates.
This article explains how to manage these settings on both Apple (iPhone) and Android devices.
Apple (iPhone)
From your home screen, open the Settings app (grey gear icon).
Tap Notifications.
Find and select the Kwieb app from the list.
Make sure the option Allow Notifications is switched on (green).
You can also customize how notifications appear (e.g., banners, sounds, badges). For the best experience, we recommend enabling all notification options.
Android
Open the Settings app on your phone (location and appearance may vary depending on your device—usually a gear icon).
Go to Apps or Apps & Notifications.
Find and tap the Kwieb app (if installed).
Under Notifications, check that it is set to “On” or “Allowed”.
You can tap Notifications to further customize how alerts are shown.
💡 Tip: Want to control which notifications you receive in Kwieb itself? Check your in-app notification preferences under Settings > Notifications from the school.
