Set up your notifications in Kwieb
In the Kwieb app, you always receive in-app notifications—these cannot be turned off. (See also [this article]). However, you can choose whether or not to receive email and/or push notifications. This article explains how.
Manage your notification preferences
You can customize which notifications you’d like to receive:
Open the Kwieb app.
Tap the bell icon (top right).
Tap the gear icon (top right).
Choose whether you want to enable or disable:
Email notifications
Push notifications
Enable or disable email notifications
If you want to receive email notifications in addition to the standard app notifications, you can set this per category (e.g., activities, parent-teacher meetings, etc.).
You can choose from three options:
Always receive emails
Only receive important emails
Do not receive emails
Enable or disable push notifications
You can also enable push notifications per category if you want real-time alerts on your phone. Here too, you can choose from the same three options:
Always receive push notifications
Only receive important ones
Do not receive push notifications
Emergency notifications cannot be turned off
The so-called “Emergency Notification” cannot be disabled. This type includes an app notification, push notification, and email notification—and is used by the school to send urgent, last-minute messages to parents.
