What is an activity and where can you find them?

Activities in the Kwieb calendar

The school can add activities to the calendar in Kwieb. An activity is a calendar item or event with a defined start date/time and end date/time.

Activities can be shared with the entire school, specific groups, or individual students. Everything you see in your calendar is always relevant to your child(ren).

Where can you find activities?

Activities are automatically shown in several places within Kwieb:

• Timeline – As an activity approaches, it moves higher up in your timeline.

• Calendar – The calendar view shows all activities clearly and in chronological order.

• Search function – Use the search bar to easily find any activity.

Participating in activities

Sometimes the school will request help or parent participation for an activity. Kwieb shows how many volunteers are needed and how many have already signed up. You can indicate your participation directly in the app.

• Tap the green button "I want to participate" to sign up.

• Once you’re signed up, your status is shown as "You are a participant."

• Want to opt out? Tap "Withdraw participation".

Questions linked to an activity

The school may attach an open question to an activity. You can freely respond to it. For example: "What can you bring for the autumn display?" You can enter your answer and view what others have submitted.
