What does the "Schedule has changed" notification mean?
Sometimes, as a parent, you may receive a notification from Kwieb stating: "Schedule has changed." However, it’s not always immediately clear what exactly has been updated.
In this article, we explain how you can find out which activities have been added, changed, or removed.
When do you receive the "Schedule has changed" notification?
When one or more activities on a specific day are added or modified by the school team, you will receive a single general notification at the end of the day:
"Schedule has changed."
This notification only appears if:
The change(s) are for activities more than two weeks in the future;
The activity/activities do not require parent participation.
Tip: Want to stop receiving this notification? Go to Your profile > Settings > Notifications in the Kwieb app and adjust your preferences there.
How can you see what has changed in the schedule?
Tap the "Schedule" button at the bottom of the Kwieb app to view all school activities relevant to your child(ren). You can scroll through to view all items.
Activities that are new or have been updated are marked with a label on the left side:
Changed
If you see an orange label that says "Changed", the activity has been modified by the school team. Tip: Tap the activity to view all the updated details.
New
A green label saying "New" means the activity was recently added by the school team. Tap the activity to view the full information.
Deleted activities
Deleted activities are removed from the schedule and no longer visible in Kwieb.
However, you will still receive a notification in certain cases:
You will be notified if:
An activity within two weeks is deleted;
An activity further than two weeks ahead is deleted and it required parent participation and you had already signed up.
In both cases, you’ll receive a clear notification that the activity has been cancelled.
