The school asks you to answer permission requests

When your child’s school asks for your consent, a notification will appear on your timeline in the Kwieb app.

If you see this message, the school is requesting your response to one or more permission questions. These may vary by school and relate to topics such as media use or data sharing. To respond, tap View next to your child’s name to go directly to the questions.

Where can I find the school's permission requests?

You can view and update your answers to permission questions at any time.

  1. Go to your profile in the Kwieb app.

  2. Tap Your children.

  3. Select the child in question.

  4. Tap Privacy to access the permission requests.

Example: Screenshot showing the Privacy button leading to the permission questions.

Have I answered all permission questions?

If you haven’t answered all required questions, the blue notification banner will remain visible on your timeline until completed.

What happens if I don’t respond?

If no parent of the child has answered a permission request, the default is “no consent”. If one parent responds, their answer is used. If multiple parents have answered, consent is only granted if all parents have answered with “consent”. In any other case, “no consent” applies.

Note: Only parents with management rights can answer permission questions for a child.
