Voting in a Poll
Teachers, the parent council, student council, or school leadership can easily ask parents a multiple-choice question via a poll in the Kwieb app. This allows schools to quickly gather the opinion of a group of parents on a specific topic.
Where Can You Find the Poll?
1. Via a Notification
When a new poll is available, you’ll receive a notification in Kwieb.
Tap the notification to open the poll and submit your response.
Tip: Don’t want to receive notifications about new polls? Adjust your notification preferences in Kwieb. Privacy: If you’ve chosen to use Kwieb with a hidden name, you will not receive poll notifications and will also not be able to see or vote in the poll. Learn more about the limitations when using a hidden name.
2. Via a Green Tile
An active poll will appear as a green tile at the top of your timeline, as long as you haven’t voted yet.
Tap “Answer poll” to view and respond.
Tip: Once you’ve submitted your vote, the green tile will disappear from your timeline.
3. On the Timeline
As long as the poll is active, it will remain high on your timeline so you can easily access it.
Answering a Poll
When you open the poll, you will see:
The question being asked
A list of possible answers
Choose your answer and tap “Vote” to submit.
Tip: Poll responses are processed anonymously, so the school (or other parents) cannot see who voted for what. Privacy exception: If the school includes the option “Other, namely: …” and you fill in your own response, your name will be shown alongside your answer. This allows the school to contact you for clarification if needed.
